Movie	The Da Vinci Code
Nutshell	A Harvard "symbologist" is summoned by French authorities to offer clues into the grisly death of the Louvre's curator and he and the curator's cryptologist granddaughter escape and find themselves on a quest for the Holy Grail. (Like you do.)
Good Things	Audrey Tatou who I am totally fine with being a mortal descendent of Christ, Jean Reno but not nearly enough of him
Bad Things	Source material, sort of a lot of naked men, sudden dawning realization that male and female leads have the same hairstyle
Features	Tom Hanks, Paul Bettany, Powerpoint presentations, Jugen Prochnow, Etienne Chicot, Bois de Bolougne, armored trucks, International Changeling Competition Candidate Alfred Molina
Uncomfortable Moments	Cynical ending that makes an otherwise superior adaptation worse than the icky book
Notable	The albino monk is not as albino as he is albino-ish except for one shot where he looks like he has clown makeup on. Frankly I think this was the way to go - clowns are way scarier than albino monks.
Best Part	Ian McKellen being all kooky and lovable and nutz.
Best Line	"Start with him."
