| Movie | Brokeback Mountain |
| Nutshell | In 1963, two cowboys (are they cowboys if they are sheep herding?), I mean, two sheepherders go up a mountain and come down in love. It goes badly after and what brings them together is not as big as what keeps them apart. |
| Good Things | Michelle Williams, Heath Ledger, general acting and cast, big lubb, Linda Cardellini dancing in a tube top and famolares, cute dog, a fireworks shot I would like to graft onto the back of my eyelids |
| Bad Things | Rodeo, too much spitting, sad reality of constant Thanksgiving fight picking, unironic 80's fashions that made my spleen convulse |
| Features | Jake Gyllenhaal, Randy Quaid, Anne Hathaway, Anna Faris, sort of a lot of sheep herding and fighting but even more great McMurtryness a la Last Picture Show |
| Uncomfortable Moments | This is not the fault of the movie but the phrase "I wish I could quit you." sends me into hysterics and so I sounded like, "HAaaaa-snorkle-snorf-" at a very dramatic point in the movie. |
| Notable | I already knew the ending and basic story going in to see this movie (thank you asshole co-workers!) so a lot of the power of the story didn't hit me. Sad but true. |
| Best Part | Michelle Williams taking names and kicking some acting ass. |
| Best Line | "Ennis, girls don't fall in love with fun!" (This is true as I am totally bff with fun but only in love with love.) |
| Crowns | 4 out of 5 |
