Movie	About A Boy
Nutshell	A swinging London bachelor lies about having a kid to crash a single parents group in order to pick up women and encounters a spacy latchkey kid with a suicidal mom. Complications and personal growth ensue.
Good Things	Hugh Grant, shiny, happy London, the kitchen of tomorrow, the units concept of time
Bad Things	Hippies and more narration than a Ken Burns program. I know everyone's in love with the book but can we get a little restraint?
Features	Toni Collette as another tortured mom, Rachel Weisz, angst-causing Christmas muzak, Nicholas Hoult, a Roberta Flack set piece
Uncomfortable Moments	Kid was annoying. I really wished he would just leave poor Hugh Grant alone after a while and that is so not the point of the movie.
Notable	I know Hugh Grant is supposed to seem pathetic, empty and alone in this movie but his lifestyle looked good to me.
Best Part	Oddly, the Roberta Flack set piece
Best Line	"I am an island. I am bloody Ibiza!"
